Lotus Elan S4 Convertible (Type 45) 1970 . Finished in Lotus Yellow with original Black upholstery and Black hood and Full tonneau cover

Owned by the last Owner for 31 years and meticulously maintained. There is a huge amount of invoices for servicing and maintenance going back to the 1970s.  Works carried out  include the original Lotus Twin Cam engine has a been fully rebuilt, cylinder head rebuilt with piper cams, new gearbox new water pump, plus much more.

In recent years this Lotus was  unused and has just undergone a major service and been recommissioned.  Works included fitment  of a new Brake Master Cylinder, Brake Pipes and Brake Servo, new Track Rod Ends, new Lucas Battery  and Oil and Filter change.

Due to the high maintenance carried out by the last owner, and the recent works carried out, this Elan drives superbly and everything including the pop-up headlights, electric windows and heater is working.

Although presentable, the paintwork is micro blistered.

Supplied with a comprehensive history file containing invoices going back to the1970s, Original Lotus service book and handbook, several old MOTs and Workshop Manual etc.
